Big news for me: I am retiring! After 8 and a half years at NAB, I am retiring from my role as Group Executive, Customer & Corporate Services and Group General Counsel. I will leave the bank at the end of this year. It has been an honour and a privilege to serve NAB’s customers and our people. I look forward to the next stage of my life and seeing what it holds for me.

Today NAB is announcing important changes to our executive ranks: • Shane Conway is being promoted into a new NAB Executive Leadership Team role as Group Executive, Transformation, effective 1 December. • Sharon Cook will retire on 31 December from her role as Group Executive, Customer & Corporate Services (CCS) and Group General Counsel, after eight years of outstanding service. • Les Matheson will take on leadership of the Customer & Corporate Services division from 1 December, adding to his role as Group Chief Operating Officer. • Jonathan Benson takes on the new role of Executive, Group General Counsel. These changes reflect the ongoing renewal of NAB’s executive team and the depth of talent and experience we have across the bank as we work to become the most customer-centric company in Australia and New Zealand.
