But that speed can also fool us. A polished prototype isn’t a finished product — it’s just the beginning of a conversation. The real opportunity isn’t to slow down, but to think faster. To use AI’s acceleration with intent, not inertia. Because in the end, it’s not about how many ideas we generate — but how clearly we decide which ones are worth building. Generative UI is a new approach where interfaces are dynamically created in real time by AI, adapting to the user’s unique needs and context. Instead of relying on predefined layouts or templates, GenUI could enable truly personalized experiences where every user, or even every interaction, feels tailor-made. This isn’t just “AI-assisted design” like we see today. It’s about using AI to generate content, components, and visual styles in real time, based on user behavior and intent. It’s fascinating to imagine how far this technology can go. Of course, for it to become a reality, generative AI will need to become more stable, reliable, and less resource-intensive. Until then, we can keep imagining how adaptive, real-time design could make our user experiences dramatically better. 𝗦𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝗵𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘀 𝗽𝗲𝗿 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗔𝗜 𝘀𝗸𝗶𝗹𝗹 Everyone talks about using AI to speed up design, but here’s what no one really mentions: 𝗔𝗜 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗺𝗽𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 - 𝗵𝗼𝘄 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗶𝘁 𝗶𝘀 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗶𝗺𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘁𝗼𝗼𝗹 𝗶𝘁𝘀𝗲𝗹𝗳. I’ve been using AI to help me explore UX flows and microcopy for a few projects. At first, I typed vague prompts and got mediocre results. When I realized that the AI needed some guidance, required more context and clearer constraints, it suddenly, generated multiple useable options in minutes instead of ideas that needed hours of reworking. When you create prompts carefully, AI reveals blind spots and inspires directions you might not have considered. It doesn't replace your brain, it improves it. 𝗠𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗺𝗽𝘁 𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗴𝘆 became one of my most underrated skills as a designer. So I tested out codifying an idea last night, and it’s incredible how much better it feels to show an idea than to document it. The gap between idea and product is shrinking fast; becoming the new norm. Built an AI-powered digital front door for healthcare, using Figma AI Maker + Cursor AI taking it from idea to application within a day. The concept was to create a clinically validated AI suite that can intelligently triage symptoms, discover providers, verify insurance seamlessly and enable scheduling.
