bp awards $700 million of offshore contracts for next phase of Shah Deniz Contracts were awarded to local joint venture of Saipem and BOS SHELF LLC The bp -led Shah Deniz consortium has awarded three major offshore contracts worth about $700 million in total to advance the Shah Deniz Compression (SDC) project in the Caspian Sea off Azerbaijan. bp operates Shah Deniz on behalf of its partners in the Shah Deniz Production Sharing Agreement (PSA). The UK supermajor holds a 29.99% stake and operatorship in the consortium, followed by Russia's LUKOIL with 19.99%, Turkey's TPAO with 19%, Southern Gas Corridor with 16%. Another 10% stake is held by NICO of Iran and a 5% shareholding is held by MVM of Hungary.

With final approvals now in hand, Saipem is set to launch the Hammerhead #offshore campaign in 2028, following authorization by ExxonMobil #Guyana. 🇹🇭Thailand’s PTTEP Awarded $800 Million Offshore EPCI Deal to 🇨🇳COOEC. 🔸 PTTEP also awarded Guangzhou Salvage to Transport and install up to 28 offshore platforms in the #GulfofThailand 24/10/2025 - CNOOC International subsidiary, China Offshore Oil Engineering Co (#COOEC) signed a contract with #Thailand’s PTT Exploration and Production Public Company Limited (PTTEP) for the wellhead platform and subsea pipeline new construction work package under the Bundled Phases 4 EPCI general contracting project. This award comes soon after the announcement that COOEC won an EPC contract worth around US$4 billions for work on QatarEnergy’s Bul Hanine offshore oil field. The PTTEP Bundled Phases 4 EPCI project will be executed under a long-term agreement model. PTTEP stated that the offshore delivery of the wellhead platforms and subsea pipelines will be between 2027 to 2029 through annual orders. COOEC’s scope will be the design, procurement, construction, offshore transportation, installation, and commissioning of the EPCI deal. This is the second offshore engineering EPCI project undertaken by COOEC for PTTEP. The entire project will take place from 2025 to 2029. The previous project was the construction of four wellhead platforms for the Zawtika 1B gas field off Myanmar.
