The GWRC is administering a Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy (CEDS) for Planning District 16(PD16), which includes Caroline, King George, Spotsylvania, and Stafford counties as well as the City of Fredericksburg. A CEDS provides recommendations to jurisdictions on how to work together to achieve common economic development goals. The GWRC is seeking input from community members of the region about strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats to economic prosperity for the PD16 region. Responses received will be used to inform the plan update, be interpreted as a community report, and confirm/refine the vision for economic development.
