This SysML v2 presentation goes through the new way to do calculations, perform rollups, and verify requirements using Cameo Systems Modeler 2026x. Thank you to Dassault Systèmes CATIA for giving the Systems Engineering community a tool that implements SysML v2 in a way that is usable and valuable to so many types of projects. Special thanks to Osvaldas Jankauskas, who has fielded SysML v2 questions for the last year as part of the Early Access Program for Cameo Systems Modeler’s v2 implementation. Cameo Systems Modeler 2026x, which is scheduled to release in November, this year, implements SysML v2 as shown in this presentation. Collaborated across engineering and support teams to implement mitigation strategies including directional title block mapping and enhanced file version tracking. This project deepened my understanding of Vault architecture, workflow automation, and the importance of precision in lifecycle state management.

In this post, Sam Coyle explains how the Diagrid team engineered Workflow Composer, a free tool that converts BPMN and other workflow diagrams into production-ready code. 🔧 Are Cumulative Flow Diagrams useful in High-Mix / Low-Volume Manufacturing? In software development, Cumulative Flow Diagrams (CFDs) are a go-to tool for visualizing flow, bottlenecks, and throughput over time. But what about high-mix / low-volume metalworking companies, where every order is unique, routings vary, and flow is anything but repetitive? I’ve been exploring how flow principles could help visualize and stabilize production in such environments — and the CFD below illustrates one possible approach: ➡️ On the left: a clear bottleneck forming in the Machining stage. ➡️ On the right: smoother, more balanced flow after improvement.
