My thoughts are with everyone affected by the tragic events on the LNER service near Huntingdon last night. To the rail colleagues, passengers, emergency services and all those impacted, our hearts are with you. No one boards a train expecting their journey to end in fea, and it’s devastating to see such an event touch our industry. The rail community is a close one, and moments like this remind us of the courage and compassion shown by those who respond under unimaginable pressure. To every member of staff and every responder who stepped forward, thank you.
