Temu and CODICI Centro per i diritti del Cittadino Join Forces to Strengthen Consumer Protection Temu and the Centre for Citizens’ Rights (CODICI) have entered into a five-year collaboration to advance consumer protection and product compliance. The collaboration includes: ✅ A joint monitoring program with annual reviews of product compliance. ✅ A dedicated escalation channel to promptly address product safety concerns. ✅ Joint participation in institutional initiatives to combat counterfeiting and greenwashing while promoting product compliance. CODICI has been committed to protecting citizens’ rights in Italy for over 30 years. Through its nationwide activities, it provides assistance and support to consumers and users. CODICI is a member of CIE (Consumatori Italiani per l'Europa), which is part of the BEUC network (Bureau Européen des Unions de Consommateurs). CODICI is also a member of the CNCU (National Council of Consumers and Users) at the Ministry of Enterprises and Made in Italy. Together, Temu and CODICI will foster transparency, share best practices, and explore annual reporting on key achievements and initiatives – driving meaningful progress toward a safer, more responsible digital ecosystem for all consumers.

I have been trying for over 2 months to place orders on Temu using credit balance that I earned from returning items. Now Temu cancels every order I place saying that it is because of unusual payment activity. I have confirmed with my bank and PayPal credit and they both have confirmed that my accounts are in good standing. If I pay with my bank account or PayPal they process the order. If I use credit balance they cancel it. They have canceled an order that I have been trying to place over 30 times. I have spent over 60 hours on the phone, have over 100 emails, over 250 tickets opened and not one single response from anyone to tell me what the problem is or if they can fix it. I filed complaints with BBB FTC ICCC ICPEN ATTRY GENERAL, I have emailed the legal department and 4 top executives and still no response. I have even asked for compensation or credit balance for inconvenience and my trouble and they say they can’t offer me anything. I have filed complaint on Elliot Advocacy and I have spread the word everywhere about the lack of support for their customer service team & the refusal to fix the problem. Temu is illegally withholding my money from me. They refuse to see their error and should refund me for my credit balance.

This is the first time one of my orders with Temu has taken so long to leave the original store. My order SVBFE00006277947 is still pending, and although I was told it would be shipped soon, nothing has happened yet. After so many successful purchases with Temu, I find it concerning that I haven’t received a clear response this time. I expect a prompt solution and proper communication regarding this delay.

Do you want to talk about consumer protection?  I am desperate to talk to someone high up in the Temu chain. I have been fighting Temu for months and need very much to find a human being who REALLY cares how Temu treats their customers. It is bad. I am being treated like a con artist and a liar. I am neither. I just want what was promised me.
