We all love David Attenborough, right? But if you grow up with no role models who look (or sound) like you, it can be hard to see a path into a field you're passionate about. Johnathon Miller-McCall not only found his people at London Wildlife Trust, he's making sure the next gen find theirs too by getting involved with projects such as the Natural History Museum's Generation Hope, and through his work with Earth Minutes and Synchronicity Earth. Johnathon's career story is a tale of pursuing of what felt real, (rather than what was cool), and being true to himself by studying conservation and animal care at Kingston University rather than finance. He's keen to share his love of wildlife and conservation with every community - urban, rural, UK-based and international. And sometimes that has meant pushing himself out of his comfort zone. Imagine your first interviewee being the London Mayor Sadiq Khan! Want to find out how Johnathan has managed his career steps so far and his tips for how you (or someone you know) can too?
