🚩 It was a big week at the European Court of Auditors as we published our 2024 annual report on the EU’s finances. 📘 On Monday, I welcomed the European Parliament’s Committee on Budgetary Control (CONT) rapporteur, Daniel Freund, to the ECA for an advanced briefing of our annual report. 🇨🇿🇳🇱 I also welcomed the Presidents of the Czech and Dutch Supreme Audit Institutions (SAIs), Miloslav Cala and Pieter Duisenberg, to the Court for discussions on the upcoming Contact Committee meeting in Malta in November. Nejvyšší kontrolní úřad Algemene Rekenkamer 📺 On Wednesday, Member Jan Gregor and I held a press briefing on the ECA’s 2024 annual report, which was followed by a series of national press briefings with the respective ECA Members. 🤝🏻 Yesterday in Strasbourg, Member Jan Gregor and I presented the main findings of our 2024 annual report to the members of the CONT Committee, which was followed by an exchange of views with Commissioner Piotr Serafin. 🇪🇺 I also met with President Roberta Metsola to present her with a copy of the report. 🇮🇪 It was also a good opportunity to catch up with Irish MEPs Regina Doherty MEP, Seán Kelly MEP, and Nina Carberry. 🇪🇸 Yesterday evening I attended an event at the Spanish Embassy in Luxembourg to celebrate the upcoming Spanish National Day. 🔗 Our 2024 annual report can be read here: https://lnkd.in/eG5m4u_W
