📍Benguerir - October 2nd, 2025 TOURBA was delighted to host a workshop at UM6P - University Mohammed VI Polytechnic in collaboration with the International Olive Council, bringing together experts and researchers, to explore the carbon market opportunities for the olive sector. 💡 Key Highlights: - Tourba’s program: Showcased our business model and AI-powered platform enabling farmers to issue verified carbon credits through remote sensing and monitoring. - Carbon Balance in Olive orchards: Explored methodologies to measure carbon sequestration and support certification. - International Insights: Highlighted how olive groves are adapting to climate change, from improved agricultural practices to drought resilience and enhanced soil carbon monitoring. This workshop reaffirmed the need for collaboration, innovation, and science-based action to position the olive sector as a key player in the fight against climate change.
