CAMPUS Research Institute’s Post

#upbcampus We were happy to welcome the representatives of the Romanian InSpace Engineering (RISE) https://roinspace.com/, led by Marius Trusculescu, Chief Executive Officer, and Alexandru Pandele, GNSS Director and Co-founder. The visit was hosted by Prof. Bogdan Ionescu, President of the CAMPUS Research Institute together with Prof. Grigore Cican, coordinator of the SAS Lab. RISE is an R&D focused company developing hardware for space and offering support for both implementing solutions based on space assets and deploying new technologies to orbit. Its expertise covers the whole concept-to-completion spectrum: from requirements definition to verification campaigns, it seamlessly guide projects through every phase. Its capabilities span mechanical, electrical, and full stack software development. RISE has been operating since 2017 with a focus on developing new products and services and continually investing in innovation. We explored together the different opportunities between the two institutions including joint project proposals and services. We showcased the Smart and Autonomous Systems Lab, coordinated by Prof. Grigore Cican, the NOVA student lab coordinated by Balog Octavian and Ioan Marian Corjuc, and the STUDENTS 2SPACE lab, coordinated by Catalin Chelmus. The labs are at the forefront of both senior and junior research and development in advanced technology, aerospace, and rocket systems, offering an environment where ideas can be rapidly prototyped and tested. Through this partnership, we continue the tradition of exploring and supporting critical technological transfer with our industry partners and reaffirm our shared commitment to fostering innovation, collaboration, and creating real-world impact across the European space and aerospace ecosystem. #PolitehnicaBucuresti Universitatea POLITEHNICA din București
