Uta Haller’s Post

🌍 Hiking for confidence, culture & connection This weekend, I had the chance to guide a very special tour for DAV München-Oberland - with 30 refugee women and girls from all nationalities and cultural backgrounds, many hiking in the Alps ⛰️ for the first time. 🥾💪 Part of Munich’s Weeks Against Racism and in collaboration with Juno – A Voice for Refugee Women, the day was about more than hiking: it was about confidence, independence, and the joy of doing something challenging, succeeding and doing it on your own. So much courage, curiosity, and cultural exchange. Stories, laughter – and even some homemade treats. 🫶🌍 Grateful to DAV for making this possible – especially in times when support for inclusion and gender equity is shrinking. The mountains aren’t just a place to escape. They’re a space to grow and connect. ✨ #WomenEmpowerment #DiversityMatters #RefugeeVoices #MountainsUnite #DAV #JunoWomen #FemaleLeadership #OutdoorForAll #InclusionThroughNature #AgainstRacism #inclusion #DEI #workdaylife #Curiosity #Confidence
