Train-the-Trainer-Workshop am 4. November 2025 - jetzt anmelden! #Wissenschaftskommunikation

As researchers engage publicly, they may encounter a number of risks – from hate speech and trolling to physical threats. These attacks not only harm individuals but also undermine their public engagement. We invite communication leads, press officers, research managers and science communicators to join us for our next Train-the-Trainer workshop on 4 November 2025. Focusing on #hostility towards #science, it will equip you with the tools to support researchers effectively while mitigating risks. 👉 Sign up here: https://lnkd.in/e23kBVz8 You will leave the workshop with actionable strategies, expert insights and the confidence to create a safer, more supportive environment for researchers at your institution. Together, we’ll: 📍 analyse real examples of attacks against researchers 📍 reflect on the prevalence, forms and impact of hostility 📍 learn how to build practical, institution-specific response strategies This workshop is part of KAPAZ, a multidisciplinary initiative studying hostility toward science in Germany. It has been developed with the expertise of the Alexander von Humboldt Institute for Internet and Society, Scicomm-Support and the Berlin School of Public Engagement and Open Science as well as Wissenschaft im Dialog, Deutsches Zentrum für Hochschul- und Wissenschaftsforschung GmbH and Bundesverband Hochschulkommunikation e.V.. The KAPAZ project network is funded by the VolkswagenStiftung. 👉 Learn more about the KAPAZ project here: https://lnkd.in/emQvfPgQ
