Woodcraft Rangers’ Post

Today, on Indigenous Peoples’ Day, we honor and recognize Indigenous communities whose cultures and contributions continue to shape the world around us. 🌎 We hold deep respect for the original stewards of the land that we call home in Southern California: the Gabrieleño (Tongva), Ventureño (Chumash), Fernandeño (Tataviam), Acjachemen (Juaneño), Payómkawichum (Luiseño), ívil̃uwenetem Meytémak (Cahuilla), and Yuhaaviatam/Maarenga’yam (Serrano) peoples. As an organization deeply rooted in the communities we serve across Greater Los Angeles County, Woodcraft Rangers honors the enduring presence and contributions of Indigenous peoples. We remain committed to building a shared future that strengthens connection, respect, and collaboration - uplifting Indigenous voices and their ongoing contributions.
