We often judge others for not meeting our expectations — at work, at home, everywhere. Prioritise Your Mental Health and Others... Whether you’re an employer, a manager, or a team member, mental health at work affects us all. This week, be encouraged to prioritise your mental health and those around you. Here are 4 practical tips that you can apply today... 1️⃣ Check-in. Ask your colleagues, “How are you really today?” to show that you genuinely care. 2️⃣ Keep boundaries. Disconnect when you’re off duty. Use your leave. Recharge. 3️⃣ Know the support. Find out what counselling, coaching, or employee assistance programmes are on offer within your workplace and externally. 4️⃣ Build routines that help. Use a gratitude journal in the morning to set the tone for your day, or go for a quick walk during your lunch break to get some fresh air and change your scenery, or have a conversation over coffee, as an example. Small positive habits can make a difference. Mental health is not limited to an annual event or month, but should be prioritised in your personal and work life each day.
