🇫🇮 First stop — Aalto University. A powerful start to NORDEEP 2025. Hosted at one of Finland’s leading innovation hubs, the visit provided the Ukrainian deep-tech delegation with firsthand insight into how research, entrepreneurship, and commercialisation are supported at the university level. From exploring Design Factory and Startup Sauna to in-depth sessions with Aalto Startup Center and Founder School, the teams connected with Finnish ecosystem builders helping science-driven ventures scale. 💡 What the startups gained: • Practical models for supporting research-based innovation • Insights into how Finnish universities educate and back founders • Direct contacts with local ecosystem builders, accelerators, and tech transfer experts • Inspiration for building resilient ventures with global potential In the evening, two Ukrainian startups presented their dual-use technologies at the Defence Tech Meetup in Helsinki — sparking new conversations on resilience, security, and frontier innovation.
