The AI "Consultant Trap": Why 70% of AI Projects Fail (And How to Ensure Yours Doesn't)

As a CEO, you're facing a dilemma. You're constantly told that AI will change everything. Yet, industry statistics show a staggering 70% of corporate AI projects fail to deliver on their promise.

Why? Because most leaders are presented with two bad options:

  1. The Boil the Ocean Strategy: A massive, multi-million dollar transformation thats too slow, too complex, and dies in committee.
  2. The Consultant Trap: A $200,000, 100 page theoretical strategy document (pobably generated by AI) that sits on a shelf, impossible to implement without a team of data scientists you dont have.

For CEOs of businesses in the $12M to $250M range, both paths are a fast track to wasting capital and, more importantly, time.

You dont have the blank-cheque R&D budget of a global giant, but your operation is too complex to just buy a tool. You're stuck in the middle, and the cost of inaction or the cost of the wrong action is enormous. This is not an IT problem to be delegated. Its a business model challenge that the CEO must own.But you dont need a massive budget to win.

You just need a different approach. The right way to start is to be pragmatic. Your focus shouldnt be on transforming everything. It should be on finding and executing one, specific, validated 10x beacon project. A beacon project is one initiative that creates a massive, measurable win. Thats how you build momentum. Thats how you fund the next step.

It's how we have rolled out disruptive technology inside of large enterprises for decades. One small step, one small win with big returns at a time. I have spoken at many association conferences this year on AI and the big question I keep getting asked by mid sized business owners and CEO's is "Where and how do we start?"

So I developed a low cost program, designed specifically for CEO's and Senior Executives in businesses in the $12M - $250M revenue category, where I have packaged up 25 years experience of rolling out disruptive technology into large enterprises.

You won't find flashy adverstising promoting me as an AI guru because dveloping an AI strategy is not flashy and nor should it be.

The program is called The Exponential Advisor Coaching Program. It’s an intensive 6-week coaching program built to give you the outcomes of a high end advisory service at a fraction of the cost.

You will walk away with:

A tailored AI strategy for your business.

A validated 10x growth project as your first major win.

A new peer advisory board, your cohort, for 12 months of ongoing strategic support.
