About Unibaio
We're a science startup focused on bio-nano tech for agriculture. Basically, we make these biodegradable micro-nanocapsules that help improve how agrochemicals are delivered and reduce the amount needed up to 80%. This means that companies that make fertilizers, herbicides, and pesticides can offer products that work just as well but are way less toxic. Our founders are Claudia Casalongué (PhD in life science and a UC Davis Fulbright scholar), Vera Alvarez (PhD in materials science and winner of the UNESCO Women in Science Award 2020), Daniela Caprile (PhD in technology transfer and specialist in circular economy), Florencia Salcedo (PhD in Life Sciences) and Matias Figliozzi (economist and 2nd-time founder). We've been working on this tech for 10 years, and now we can offer agrochemical companies a way to stand out in a super regulated market and make the transition to more sustainable agriculture.

Main Tasks and responsibilities
Am I the right candidate?
We're looking for someone who has studied business or something similar, like international trade or marketing. If you're a recent grad with some experience in the tasks listed or an advanced student with experience in a bunch of them, you're a good fit. You need to have excellent communication skills in English and Spanish. It would be awesome if you knew your way around Excel and Google Drive, but it's not a deal breaker. Same goes for web design platforms like Wix and social media. We're looking for someone who can work fast and handle the crazy pace of a growing tech company. If you're a quick learner and can handle new challenges, you're perfect for this role. Don't worry if you don't know everything – we just want someone who can solve problems and is willing to take on new challenges with the rest of the team. You should be proactive, organized, and responsible, and it would be great if you had some basic knowledge in accounting and marketing. If you're into entrepreneurship, science, and the environment, even better! This job might be remote, but it would be a plus if you can meet up in person regularly in Mar del Plata. 🌊
What Unibaio can Offer
The position is a full-time, 40-hour per week role. Sometimes you might have to work weird hours to deal with customers all around the world. But don't worry, part-time work and flexible hours might be an option too.
We offer a competitive compensation package with monthly inflation adjustments, as well as two weeks of paid time off and all national holidays, including an additional day off on your birthday. English classes sponsorship is also provided. Additionally, there is some flexibility in scheduling.
