DataDotOrg launched five years ago at the World Economic Forum at a time when many people saw AI as science fiction. A lot has changed, and data and AI are now part of our daily lives. 

It’s against this backdrop that data.org celebrates our five-year anniversary and, with it, a continued commitment to accelerating globally-informed, locally-led change for—and with—the people and communities that need it most.
