2018 started with a bang for ICOs. In just 3 months, they raised more money than the entire of 2017.
The total ICO funding in the first quarter, amounting to $6.3 billion, was 118% of the total funding in 2017.
2017 saw the steady growth of crypto funds with the total number amounting to 130. Within the first five months of 2018, there were a total of 61 crypto launches. With the current pace, the total number of crypto funds in 2018 is estimated to reach 147 crossing the record of 130 in 2017.
