Our first ever IRL-vs-hybrid Word Search challenge!

When the team at Global Workspace Association sponsored their Coworking Words challenge a few weeks ago, we were already planning something fun for and around their conference in Chicago this week.

Here's what we landed up with...

Throughout this week, our Coworking Words challenge will have 2 big fun twists.

#1. Team HERE vs Team THERE.

Players are invited to set emojis after their name depending on whether they're attending or not attending the GWA conference in Chicago.

These emojis are:

📍 Attending GWA and playing for Team HERE.

💻 Not attending GWA and playing for Team THERE.

Every player who completes the challenge will get points for their team, land in the top 10 and get more points. But this time, the changes will update all week long.

And throughout the conference, we'll be showing these scores off on social (follow This Week In Coworking ) and on a GAME SCREEN at the conference.

So whether you're heading to the conf in Chicago or not, get involved and bring the virtual trophy (and bragging rights) home for your team.

#2. $10,000+ in coworking prizes for word searchers.

To make things a little bit more interesting we're adding

5 random players will get 2x FREE tech-therapy 1-on-1s with Syncaroo to explore and tackle tech, revenue or platform challenges at work. No pitching. No selling. Just two sessions to help tackle tech challenges. Already on a Syncaroo plan? We'll add these to your existing sessions. Each prize is worth $998.

The first 20 players to complete the puzzle will all get their coworking brands 20% off Patron Status from This Week In Coworking for a whole year. Already upgraded? We'll add the discount to your plan too. Each prize is worth: $156.

Players who complete the puzzle at least once by Thursday at 5pm ET will get a 20% discount on either an annual Global Workspace Association membership, a ticket to one of their Immersive events, or next years annual conference. Each prize is worth $50-$150 depending on your choice.

Exclusive Team HERE Prize: Randomly selected players will get invited for quick interviews shared across TWIC.co channels throughout the GWA conference. Each prize is... erm... priceless?

Important little note: This word search challenge is JUST FOR FUN — no fees, no tricks, no gambling. Anyone can play, and a few lucky finishers will snag some prizes just for completing the challenge. It’s all skill, zero chance, and absolutely free to join. Void where prohibited, of course. 😉        

What about the global Team League?

The Team League will continue as usual, with all players (who use their work email addresses) collecting points for their respective coworking teams.
