This shines through in how we designed our office spaces. Our Toronto-based head office, located in the North American centre, is used by over 1,800 employees from various fields. The building earned the LEED and BOMA BEST distinction, recognizing energy and environmental management excellence.

We worked with a global design, architecture, and engineering firm- to help ensure it was a space that met all our employees’ needs. The end result? A modern office space that promotes collaboration, creativity, and inclusivity while honouring our Canadian roots.

The design theme is rooted in The Great Trail and references Canadian landscapes, featuring textures, colours, and patterns of nature found across the country. The building interior has black and white tones for a sharp contrast, overlaid with warmer woods and bold colours, all built with locally sourced and sustainable materials.

The office is more than just a welcoming place to look at, though. It features over 40 meeting areas and focus rooms that can seat between two and 20 employees. All meeting rooms are equipped with the latest video conferencing solutions, allowing hybrid teams to hold effective meetings where everyone feels included and heard. 

Prioritizing an inclusive experience for all remote and in-office employees was important beyond our meeting rooms. Every floor has conversation areas where employees can meet for quick chats without booking a meeting space. Our purpose is easy to find on every building floor, whether heading to a meeting, to our desks, or to get a fresh coffee. It's written on the pillars within the building, reminding us why the work we do is important – and why each of our employees is, too.

We have dedicated workstations throughout the office that can be booked for the day through an easy-to-use e-app, ensuring everyone has access to the space they need to do their best work. At all of these workstations, we have ergonomic furniture, including adjustable-height sit-stand desks, docking stations, and multiple screens. 

We offer in-office amenities such as wellness rooms to promote employees' well-being and individual, heads-down concentration zones where team members can take advantage of the soundproofing. Recreation areas with games like ping pong, foosball, and various board games, as well as TV and game rooms, are also available.

We also offer communal employee break areas on all floors, stocked daily with drinks, healthy snacks, tea, and coffee stations. The building features an outdoor courtyard and various on-site amenities, including a gym, food court, retail businesses, restaurants, and direct access to public transportation.
