Are you an urban practitioner, city planner, engineer, designer, scientist, sociologist, geographer, government official, researcher or any other relevant actor who is passionate about making cities and communities across the world smarter and more sustainable? If so, the United for Smart Sustainable Cities (U4SSC) initiative is seeking your expert insights to join its key thematic groups and help shape the future for our cities and communities.

U4SSC is looking for expert insights in a number of exciting areas:

·        The core values and principles that should govern the implementation of AI in smart cities

·        The potential impact of frontier technologies in smart cities

·        The best ways to build a simple, smart future for cities and communities

·        Measuring the performance of smart cities and communities

·        Monitoring the performance of smart cities and communities

·        How smart and sustainable cities can ensure procurement is smart and sustainable, too

·        Laying the foundations for the future, shaping a “smart city platform

By joining one of the thematic groups, you’ll gain access to a host of experts in each field, drawn from across governments, public/private sector, academia and beyond. You’ll be able to network, share knowledge and insights. And together, you will pinpoint the solutions, technologies, regulation and policies that will forge the smart sustainable cities and communities of the future.
