This gender imbalance not only contributes to the gender pay gap, but also limits the potential for innovation and growth in the tech industry. A study by McKinsey & Company found that companies in the top quartile for gender diversity were 15% more likely to have above-average profitability than companies in the bottom quartile.

Additionally, more women in tech means more diverse perspectives and ideas, which can lead to more inclusive and effective products and solutions. By breaking down the gender barrier in tech, women can help to create a more equitable and innovative industry.
