Summary: My previous role was to manage and develop internal talent, overseeing roles focused on digital media post-production. My first employer after college was State Farm Insurance. I was hired for my video production experience to support studio and remote production, eventually moving to a writer/producer position. After 10 years I moved into management and had the opportunity to work with and develop writers, producers, directors, editors, audio engineers, photographers, stylists, production assistants, production coordinators, editorial specialists, and live webcast producers. I'm happy to say I had all of these opportunities within the same company and retired after nearly 38 years. Time for new adventures!

Summary: I currently have over 30 years of professional experience in social services. I have worked with homeless youth as a case manager and Program Director of a shelter. In addition to my work with homeless youth, I have been employed with the Illinois Department of Human Services for 26 years with the local office determining eligibility for SNAP (formerly known as food stamps), cash, and medical. I have been employed as a case worker and progressed to an administrator of an office. I am currently the Bureau Chief of the Illinois Department of Human Services Teen Parent Services which provides advocacy for pregnant and parenting teens through 20 years old throughout Illinois. Alongside my employment, I am the CEO of Bridge to Hope, Inc., a not-for-profit organization I started in 2009 as a means to provide advocacy and services to homeless youth and assist others in starting grassroots organizations to address various needs.
