Summary: Most of my life, I have been a trainer, teacher, journalist, IT professional - all of those fancy things, but the one thing that I always knew - just knew - was that no matter what I do, I will end up writing fiction. I believe that's how my brain is wired. If I read, I read to gain knowledge for my own writing, if I interview people, I do that to refine my own views for the clarity of my writing and characters, if I travel, I travel to find new locales for my writing - in short, there is no end to this approach that I have taken in life for the betterment of the fiction that I see, experience and sense all around me. After all, I deem this universe, galaxies, planets - everything - in fact, this reality itself, nothing but God's fiction. Therefore, I'd like to think of myself as a traveler and observer in every sense of these two simple yet meaningful words. In actuality, if thought about a little, this life is nothing but an unknown journey that we all have embarked on, and while traveling across the various stages of our lives, our observation helps us in acquiring the knowledge of this enigmatic world and its colorful inhabitants which not only shapes our perspectives, but also makes us experience certain feelings that can only be felt, and never taught. This experience and observation is exactly what I try to pen down every time I sit down seeking thoughts and words to weave a tale. The First Impulse - my debut novel - is one such attempt. There is a little bit of color in it, a bit of darkness, some moroseness, some felicity - in short, a lot of life. Hope you'll enjoy it.
