Tetra Tech is excited to announce our continued engagement with Water and Energy for Food Grand Challenge (WE4F) through our partnership with Sida and the International Water Management Institute (IWMI). From 2020 to 2025, Tetra Tech implemented WE4F in 27 countries across South & Southeast Asia and Southern & Central Africa, supporting over 75 water-energy-food nexus innovators to scale. We provided catalytic grant funding, delivered technical assistance to improve business performance, and facilitated investment and partnerships. In this bridge contract through February 2026, Tetra Tech will continue to support innovators with scaling and capture lessons learned and critical impact data to inform future program design. ➡️ See the attached graphics for the results we achieved in each region. https://lnkd.in/eauWSiYA

We are delighted to share the launch of a new Land Facility Country Support Project in Zambia. The project will support the strengthening of land administration capacities of customary leaders, as well as facilitate inter-ministerial coordination with customary leaders and communities on clarifying township and chiefdom boundaries, local area planning, administration of agricultural and resettlement schemes, artisanal mining capacities in customary areas and community forest management. This launch brought together ministries, customary authorities and civil society to learn more about what the FCDO funded Land Facility programme will be supporting in Zambia. In the opening remarks, Kelvin Chabulembwa (Assistant Director, Department of Physical Planning, Ministry of Local Government and Rural Development) mentions that “this programme is a step forwards in making sure our lands are properly managed, communities protected and our development is inclusive". Patrick Mucheleka (Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Lands and Natural Resources - pictured) provided opening remarks, welcoming the project. The launch was further supported by Nikolaus Clemenz (Climate and Environment Advisor, British High Commission Lusaka - pictured). Matt Sommerville (Land Facility Technical Lead - pictured) reflects that the agenda of this project is about shared responsibility and is not just about drawing maps or registering villages. This project supports #landgovernance that is fair, inclusive and future ready. Stay tuned to hear more…

Sixteen leaders from Vietnam’s ministries and vocational training institutions have been in Melbourne for the Aus4Skills Knowledge Exchange on vocational education and training (VET). This leg of the visit focused on how Australia effectively connects vocational training directly with industry needs. Delegates met with key Australian vocational education stakeholders, including the Australian Skills Quality Authority (ASQA), Industry Skills Australia (ISA), the Office of TAFE Coordination and Delivery (OTCD), and the Australian Industry Group (Ai Group). Central to discussions was industry engagement – particularly the role of Jobs and Skills Councils (JSCs) in shaping qualifications, apprenticeships, and assessments to ensure training meets real-world employment requirements. Delegates visited the Bendigo Kangan Institute’s Automotive Centre of Excellence in Docklands and William Angliss Institute to witness firsthand how training policy translates into practical skills. They actively engaged throughout, asking insightful questions and identifying valuable lessons to support Vietnam’s ongoing VET reforms. Our sincere thanks to Australian Embassy, Vietnam, and the Australian hosts for their generous insights and hospitality. Tetra Tech is proud to support the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade’s Aus4Skills program. #Aus4Skills #AUVNCSP #vocationaleducationtraining #IndustryEngagement #SkillsForJobs #JobsAndSkillsCouncils

The delegation kicked things off in Canberra with a tour of Parliament House, followed by a traditional Welcome to Country ceremony at the Australian Institute of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Studies on the banks of Lake Burley Griffin.
