CalVet is hosting the NorCal Tribal Veterans Mental Health Summit today in Redding. The event is dedicated to honoring Native American veterans and advancing suicide prevention efforts through culturally grounded lethal means safety strategies. The summit brings together Tribal leaders, veterans, mental health professionals, service providers, and state partners for a day of shared learning, truth-telling, and cross-sector collaboration rooted in respect and cultural understanding. The theme of the event is "Speaking with One Voice — Protecting Life and Honoring the Warrior Spirit."
