We are now in Evora (Portugal) for our 𝗘𝗫𝗣𝗘𝗖𝗧𝗔𝗡𝗧 𝗣𝗟𝗔𝗖𝗘𝗦 final event, gathering people from Croatia, Italy, France to discuss the #RegenerAction results (find them out here! 👉 https://lnkd.in/dSmqcR3Q ) It is hosted by _ARTERIA_LAB_ in #EspaçoCeleiros, located within the walls of the city of Évora, in a classified space steeped in history, where other cultural associations in the city are also located, such as Pé de Xumbo (dance), Bruxa Teatro (Theatre), Cantares de Évora (alentejo singing group), Antípoda (theatre). The main building of this place has somestructural problems, some of these associations had to move to other buildings in the city and the future of this complex is not yet defined by the municipality. We thought that our final event would be a great opportunity to participate and discuss the concept of expectant places in our cities and the role of #urbancommunitybuilders. Expectant places is a poetic and cultural perspective on the urban concept of expectant buildings, which means, when some building in an urban area is expecting for a new or other use. In this period of expectancy, these buildings/spaces may have #temporaryuses, #occupations or being laboratoriums for social, cultural, artistic and political #prototyping. https://lnkd.in/dXzMwXna
