The Centre for Impact Investing and Practices (CIIP) and Philanthropy Asia Alliance (PAA) are excited to unveil the mentee cohort for the Amplifier 2025’s Sustainability Transformation for SME Suppliers in Tourism track at the Mastercard Center for Inclusive Growth's 2025 ASEAN Inclusive Growth Summit Changemakers Day, organised in partnership with the ASEAN-BAC - Malaysia. Three mentees were chosen after a rigorous selection process following workshops conducted across Jakarta, Kuala Lumpur, and Singapore. In addition to industry mentorship and sectoral and market insights, each mentee will receive up to S$100K in catalytic capital supported by our Impact Innovation Partner Mastercard Center for Inclusive Growth. Each mentee will also receive tailored support in the form of training, pro bono consulting, and mentorship from a broad network of over 70 multi-sector partners. Using a whole-of-ecosystem approach, the Amplifier brings partners together to help impact-driven companies scale their presence and impact in Asia by growing their operations and strategic connections. The cohort was selected for their strong alignment with the track’s impact themes; demonstrated commitment to sustainability, evidence of early customer traction; and clear, scalable business plans. The Amplifier 2025 Tourism track mentee cohort comprises: 🍽 AlterPacks (SG): Upcycling food by-products and agricultural waste into scalable, 100% plant-based materials that replace single-use plastics across tourism, hospitality, food service, and healthcare 🥘 Green Rebel Foods (ID): Democratising sustainable protein with deliciously healthy and affordable products. Green Rebel Foods provides flavours and textures that consumers love, made from local & natural ingredients. 🧴 N&E Innovations Pte Ltd (SG): Tackling the problem of global food waste by using upcycled food waste technologies through antibacterial food packaging and agriculture post-harvest coating solutions. What a week in Kuala Lumpur! 🇲🇾     Honored for the Mastercard Center for Inclusive Growth to host the ASEAN Inclusive Growth Summit in partnership with ASEAN-BAC Malaysia.    The middle-class growth, and the energy that comes with that, drove the discussions among 700+ participants shaping the future of inclusive economic growth 🧠    With policymakers, philanthropists, business leaders and social impact changemakers in the room, #AIGS25 was about a lot of things:    📈 Supporting small business owners.  💰 Building financial health and security.  💻 Protecting people and communities against cyber threats.    It inspired new opportunities and innovations in ASEAN, especially with the 47th ASEAN Summit underway. While #AIGS25 was just one moment, it’s about so much more.    It’s about momentum, and I have no doubt the conversations had, and connections formed, will drive toward a future that is inclusive and sustainable.    Proud of our Center team and all our partners and speakers who spent countless hours ensuring #AIGS25 was a success. As #Malaysia leads #ASEAN with a transformative agenda, I shared how digital innovation is reshaping our region—driving connectivity, economic resilience, and sustainable development.
