  • Intune is included with subscriptions to Microsoft 365 E3, E5, F1, and F3, Enterprise Mobility + Security E3 and E5, and Business Premium plans.
  • Intune supports minimum versions of:
     
    • Windows 10 and 11
    • macOS 13+
    • iOS/iPadOS 16+ (app protection 16+)
    • Android 10+ for user-based, 8+ for dedicated
    • Ubuntu 20.04/22.04 LTS
    • Chrome OS via Web app management

  • Intune enforces device compliance, feeds signals into Microsoft Entra Conditional Access, and applies least-privilege app policies—continuously verifying users and devices before granting access.

  • No. Copilot in Intune requires Microsoft Security Copilot and provisioned security compute units (SCUs). While any Intune-licensed tenant can access Copilot features once SCUs are provisioned, the Copilot functionality itself is a separate service.
  • Intune Suite is a paid add-on on top of Intune Plan 1. It includes advanced features such as Remote Help, Endpoint Privilege Management, Advanced Analytics, Enterprise Application Management, and Cloud PKI. Intune Plan 2 is also an add-on with specialty device management and Microsoft Tunnel for Mobile Application Management features.
