The impact of Microsoft role-based certifications
In early 2019, Microsoft updated its certification program to better align with the evolving technology landscape. The revised certifications are designed around specific job roles, as illustrated in Figure 15.2, reflecting the skills and knowledge pertinent to these positions. These role-based certifications enable professionals to demonstrate their expertise to potential employers and peers, thereby enhancing their career prospects and opportunities for advancement.
