Introduction to Blender’s Sculpting Tools
If you want to do anything organic, sculpting is your best bet, as sculpting allows us to tweak more than a small set of vertices/faces at once in several different ways.
Blender offers a powerful sculpting system, with several different brushes that affect the surface in different ways, making it possible to achieve a huge amount of variation and different effects in our mesh.
In this chapter, we’ll cover the following:
- The default Blender sculpting brushes and their settings
- The advantages that using a drawing tablet brings when sculpting
- Suggested situations for when to use each brush and when to combine brushes
By the end of this chapter, you should be familiar with most of the sculpting tools available by default in Blender.
