1. Show that the points (2, 0), (5,-1), (11, 4) and (8, 5) are the vertices of a
parallelogram and find the length of the diagonals.

2. Find the point on the y-axis that is equidistant from (5, 1) and (-3,-1)

3. Find the coordinates of the point equidistant from (-6,-1) and (-1,2) and at a
distance from (-2,7).

4. In what ratio does the x-axis divide the segment joining (-5, 4) and (4,-8)?

5. The line joining A (10, 7) and B (6,-9) is divided into six equal parts .Find the point
of division closest to B.

6. The angle from the line through (x,-1) and (-3,-5) to the line through (2,-5) and
(4, 1) is 45. Find x.

7. Find the equation of the line passing through (-3/5, 8/5) and with equal intercepts.

8. Two sides of a square are on the lines x+ 10y-10=0 and x+10y -5=0 .Find the
area of the circle.

9. The distance from a line to (6, 2) is 3 units. The line is perpendicular to

4x+3y+8=0. Find its equation.

10. What are the equations of the lines through (8,-3) and passing at distance
from (3, 2)
