President Amy assigned fne-master duties to PPJohn Dahlmeier he addressed membership:
*Gil Boules $70 stand on fearless president who missed his birthday list for April birthday. Gil discussed his 100
years old Metz Automobile long story on history of car with brass lights one of 5 in United States sold in 13 do it
yourself kits rebuilt 3 times last time broke crankshaft. An now on Horseless Carriage Recognition.
*Sam Chimento birthday that missed recognition was his grandson turned 4 on Saturday lives in Oregon and
went for Weekend. Happy belated birthday Sam as bell ringer. $35
*Toni Ruggle in race foot race recently fnished placed 47 out of 800 people in 5K In the 55-59 group he
achieved 4th did great achieved Bell Ringer $80 status. Top mile in 4:08 at Chico State some time ago.
*James Plummer achievement Dr.degree and trip permit San Jose an Hockey Sharks game. with San Jose 3-0
win. $30 for Bell Ringer.
*David Pittman has piled up many snowmobile trail miles and received a $30 recognition for Bell Ringer.
*TC Dennis bell ringer needed recognition $25 8 year old granddaughter in Klamath Falls Or. basketball 2nd
place in tournament in Redding won 1st place now on way to Reno tournament. She achieved the Student Athlete
of Month in March in Klamath Falls. Ester will see another recognition. Bell Ringer
*Having not been recognized Mr. Smith $50 bell ringer for misstepped leading of fag salute.
*Sal Rodriquez needed notes for introductions driving around Chico with blade of grass from one of Sals staff $35 bell ringer not trapping the loose grass clip-
pings.
*Chuck Reynolds admitted lunch on Sal Rodriquez, Chuck also mentioned achievements of his 7 year old daughter won 1st place in speech contest 11 year old
won silver medal in science competition, 61st anniversary of parents, $70 and many others Bill Cheff mentioned about the children take after their mother.
*Keith Stutznegger learned how to pack clothiers for his upcoming India trip, he also got a personal guide for the
India trip the previous GSE team member has put him contact with friends in India, provided considerable contacts
in Rotary folks in India beyond being just a tourist and amazed on the communication for his trip, he committed to a
report after the trip.
*Brylan Klingler is being nurse due to a serious trip and fall into window with serious lacerations of his wife and
issued instructions she will no longer pick up the Pizza.
*John Dahlmeier mentioned the Thank You cards from Ophir students for the Rotary Dictionaries. And he espe-
cially wanted to comment on one student words that she wanted to be able to use words that my parents dont know.
Apparently that student was Lisa Delabys daughter!
*John Hancock reported on Noon Rotary bowling team results of 489 for 3 games an took second place $56 next
Bell Ringer. He mentioned Sheriffs department won 1st place due to packing members on team.
*Sam received recognition for picture in newspaper and Mike Spanfelner mentioned his son now driving! An the
eye show on May 4 on way to Hawaii $45 on way to Maui needing an interpreter.
*President Amy opened a Parcel Post package and was proudly surprised
with her Presidents Bell.
*Mitch Brown asked for trip permit to Oklahoma $50 to foundation.
President Amy announced April 28 ROTARIANS AT WORK DAY and dis-
cussed some of the possibilities including Sunrise Rotary has 3 projects in Oro-
ville area. Gridley Rotary is partnering with Recology an doing painting project at Gridley fair-
grounds. More information to follow.
Condolences to Rotarian Shelton Enochs as his mother passed away on March 31.
Reminders on Upcoming Events: Mystery Trip limited seating for April 21, Saturday leave
