Opposition pulled out from Kassab
The UK-based Syrian Obser-
vatory for Human rights said
that al-Nusra Front fghters
and other opposition battal-
ions withdrew from Kasab
in Lattakia northern country-
side towards Kurds Moun-
tain.The retreat came after
SAA advancement and hav-
ing full control on the border
town of al-Nabaain and Syr-
iatel Tower; thus isolating
al-Samra village.The army
controlled on Kasab and
(714 and 803) hills south-
east (Observatory 45) in the
northern countryside after it
has controlled on the stra-
tegic hill (724), an offcial
military source confrmed.
Recapturing (714 and 803)
hills is of great importance
since it blocks supply roads
to Nabaa al-Mourr which
overlooks Kasab directly,
the source added.The source
added that the Syrian army
has taken a decision to move
on the Chalma top despite
the big frepower possessed
by the militants, which en-
ables them to fre hundreds
of shells daily at Chalma top
at the north-western coun-
tryside and the surrounding
areas.On The other hand,
Syrian frefghters are taking
positions near the clashes
areas to extinguish any po-
tential blast caused by the
shells fred on the army-held
forest trees.
