Megapower was incorporated in Malaysia in 1990 as

Introduction

Underfloor Ducting System is designed in accordance to IEC 61084 to provide the most simple
and economical method for distribution of power, voice and data services under the floor where the ducting
is buried in screed.
Underfloor ducting is used to link the main feed point with service outlet boxes thus providing flexibility in
an office service outlets layout.

Underfloor Ducting System consists of the following components:

Vertical Access Box
Angle Floor Box

Technical Data
The minimum overall depth of screed is determined by the depth of underfloor ducting. It is recommended
that underfloor ducting is set on a rough slab and covered with a minimum screed of 25mm or 38mm over
the ducting.

The basic box is supplied with a disposable screeding lid, thus preventing ingress of screed into the box
during screeding.
Standard epoxy coated service outlet panel suitable for power, voice and data is provided.
Non-standard service outlet panel is available upon request.
There are two types of service cover and frame recess: (1) 6mm recess for carpet finishing (flange edge)
and (2) 9mm recess for tile finishing (trim edge). Service cover, frame and pillar support are constructed
from high pressure die-cast zinc alloy or aluminium. Grommets and handles are moulded from plastic (ABS).
The standard depth of the box can be adjusted from 56mm to 72mm except for special request.
