ch 10, hdc in 2nd ch from hook,
[email protected]7 hdc, 6 hdc in last ch, continue on opposite side:
7 hdc, 5 hdc in last st, join with sl st in 1st hdc

- 20g [30g] colour B (sand)

ch = chain stich(es)

Use colour B now. Work in rows
row 1:
ch 21, hdc in 2nd ch from hook, 19 hdc => 20 sts
row 2:
ch 1, turn, 20 hdc => 20 sts
gauge:
20 hdc x 12 rows = 10x10 cm
[16 hdc x 10 rows = 10x10 cm]
5 hdc x 3 rows = 1x1 INCHES
[4 hdc x 2,5 rows = 1x1 INCHES]
row 3:
ch 1, turn, 6 hdc,
(2 hdc together see pictures) 4x, 6 hdc
=> 16 sts
row 4:
ch 1, turn, 5 hdc, (2 hdc together) 3x, 5 hdc

hdc together:
Begin 1st hdc but don't
finish. Leave 3 loops
on hook (1).
Begin 2nd hdc
=> 5 loops on hook (2).
Pull yarn through all 5 Fasten off.
loops on hook (3).
Turn inside out.
row 5:
ch 1, turn, 4 hdc, 2 hdc together, 1 hdc, 2 hdc
together, 4 hdc => 11 sts

TONGUE:

UPPER HEEL :
Work in rounds with colour A.
round 1:
ch 22, hdc in 2nd ch from hook, 19 hdc, 6 hdc in
last ch, continue on opposite side: 19 hdc,
5 hdc in last st, join with sl st in 1st hdc
=> 50 sts
Continue at the point shown in the picture.
round 2:
ch 1, 2 hdc in 1 st, 20 hdc, 2 hdc in each of next
5 sts, 20 hdc, 2 hdc in each of next 4 sts, join with
sl st in 1st hdc => 60 sts
round 3:
ch 1, 1 hdc, 2 hdc in 1 st, 21 hdc,
(2 hdc in 1 st, 1 hdc) 5x, 19 hdc,
(1 hdc, 2 hdc in 1 st) 4x, join with sl st in 1st hdc
=> 70 sts
Fasten off.
ch 1, work sc along the edge of the tongue
=> ~ 27 sts
Fasten off.

ATTACH PIECES TOGETHER:
Attach heel here and continue working sc along
the edge (26 sc) to fix it.
This picture shows the 26 sts through which heel
is attached to sole:
Work in the round.
Put together sole and upper toe at the point shown
in the picture (wrong sides together).
Work 20 sc with colour B along the edge
(frontmost 20 sts) through both pieces.

BOOTLACE:
Use needle to thread the bootlace.
Voil:
Make 4 little buttons with yarn colour B for each
bootie.
Work in loop (magic ring): ch 1, 6 sc
Tighten ring (not too tight), join with sl st in
1st sc. Fasten off.

Second bootie is made the same way.

Sew buttons on both sides of the bootie as shown
in the picture:
