ChoicePoint enables consumers to opt-out of its public-facing products by submit-

ting information by mail or via an online form. It also permits consumers to opt out
of its direct marketing products. It complies with the national Do-Not-Call (DNC)
requirements and honors requests through that service.

In addition, it complies with state opt-out laws, where applicable, and security freeze
laws. For example in California , a public safety, elected or appointed official may
submit a request to ChoicePoint and it will opt them out of its public facing prod-
ucts (i.e., KnowX and ChoiceTrust). It also permits consumers who can establish
that they are victims of identity theft or under a substantial risk of physical harm to
opt out of its public facing products.
