French Montana, is a Moroccan-American hip hop recording artist. He immigrated to the United
States with his family when he was 13 years old. He is the founder of Coke Boys Records, and
also previously Cocaine City Records. In 2012, he signed a joint-venture recording deal with Bad
Boy Records and Maybach Music Group. His mixtape debut was in 2007, and released his debut
studio album 'Excuse My French' in 2013 which reached at No. 4 on Billboard 200 chart. His
breakthrough song was 'Choppa Choppa Down' in 2010. The studio album, 'Jungle Rules' in

French Montatan real name was Karim Kharbouch. He was born on November 9, 1984 in Rabat,
Morocco. He lived at his family estate outside Casablanca till he was 13 years of age. His two
favorite hobbies were soccer and rap. He also got into basketball in his teenage years. After he
was 13, he and his family left Morocco and settled in the South Bronx in New York City. He
learned English in the streets and in Lehman and Roosevelt high schools. His father moved back
to Casablanca, when his mother opted to stay back. He became the primary breadwinner for the
family. In 2003, Montana suffered a gunshot when confronted by two armed gunmen while he
was leaving a recording studio in Bronx. He managed to fully recover after several weeks of
medical treatment. He later found out that someone close to him set up evil. French Montana was
previously married to Deen Kharbouch from 2006 to 2014 and they had a son. His son is the
young boy you see on the cover of his album, Excuse My French'. French Monatana also
dated Khloe Kardashian in 2014. In 2016, he dated Iggy Azalea.
