Accomplishment Assignment

1. Accomplishments:
i) Worked with an NGO for a social cause.
It was a voluntary activity included in our sem1 degree program in
which students had to work with an NGO name ‘Oasis”. Our role was
to aware people and school children not to scrap papers instead to give
to the NGO which will give the scrap papers to the rack pickers to
make paper bags from that. This paper bags will be sold by NGO to
public and the proceeds will be given to the rack pickers.
This is an accomplishment for me as I got a chance to work with a
NGO on a social cause of rack pickers.

ii) Skydiving from 20,000 feet

Back in 2010, my 1st foreign adventurous tour to Spain. I decided to
have an experience of skydiving as very less people try it due to
height phobia. One needs courage to jump down from 20,000 feet to
the ground. It was a very wonderful experience of gravitational force,
the scenic beauty from above.
This is one of my best achievement as it needs courage, peace mind
and an inner spark to do this sport.

iii) Have reached to the highest motorcycle road in the world

In summer 2014, I planned for a tour to one of the best tourist
destinations in India that is Leh-Ladakh in the Indian state of Jammu
& Kashmir. The reason I chose this destination was to see the snow
clad mountains, see the Indian Army Camp and meet Army Man, to
the world famous highest motorcycle road in the world and highest
altitude fresh water Pangong Lake, drink coffee at the highest
cafeteria in the world. It was a wonderful experience to reach at
18,380 feet above sea level.
This is an accomplishment for me as I got to meet Army Officials, see
Indo-Pak border and having a better coffee than Starbucks.

iv) Been a part of the college festival

It is an achievement to work in a college festival where students from
different colleges take part in different events. I was in the hospitality
department of the festival wherein we had to take care of food and
beverages during the festival tenure. We had to communicate with
different hotels about the quantity and price they will charge as we
were assigned a sum of money in which we had to manage all our
expenses.

v) Training at A District Co-operative Bank

I got a wonderful opportunity to make use of my theory skills in
District Co-operative Bank. It is very difficult to get into district
controlled bank but my skills and hardships helped to get into it.
Basically the bank trained me with general day-to-day banking
transactions like deposit/withdrawal of cash, opening up of new
accounts, fixed deposits and many more.
The training in a District Co-operative Bank is my accomplishment as
very less people get a chance to train themselves in such banks. I
consider this as my best achievement.

vi) Working with Banks on a project

My under graduation was designed in such a way that in every
semester we need to prepare a presentation by actually going to bank
and ask for various information, their culture, products, how the bank
operate and other required details. This project helped me in my
communication skills, team-work, and enthusiasm to know more.
This is an achievement for me as it helped me to know more about
banking system, different people and building more contacts.

 I like Formula1 at play. I feel more energetic and passionate when I see any
sports car or anyone talking about it. Formula1 does teach us about work
that is management and team-work. For example, in Formula1 the
management and the team need to work on pit stop and tyre strategies
together to win the race. In the same way the management at work should
work at a team to reach at a desired goal.
 Reviewing Financial Instruments at work and Cooking Food at play share
the same concept. Both of them need complete knowledge about all the
aspects and ingredients about which to put first and of how much amount to
make the dish balanced. If any of the aspect or ingredient is put in excess
than the investment will give you negative returns and dish will get spoil.
 Learning and Adaptability helps us at work as well as play. One has to learn
and adapt to new work culture, environment, system, management at work
and one has to learn new things to be competitive in world. For example, A
