I. Introduction
Harry Potter is a novel with popular appear. Not only do teenagers love
to read but adults alike. This fantastic novel “Harry Potter” is rich in
imagination power, interesting witchcrafts and full of exciting action;
therefore, this novel sold well all over the country as soon as they
published, even in short supply. It is obvious that everyone has a “Harry
Potter” by himself.
So far “Harry Potter” has sold at least two hundred million copies. That
has made J.K Rowling earn ten hundred sixty-five million copies, and she
had become the wealthiest woman in England. “Harry Potter” is rich in
nothing but the best recreation for young people; those kids can both
obtain imagination by reading the plots of “Harry Potter”, and kill time,
too. J.K. Rowling, who is the best writer in the world, lets us realize one
thing. That is, novel is not limited to the love stories or the ghosts’ tales;
somehow, it is widespread.
This thesis discusses with the fashion of the “Harry Potter”. At the
beginning, what experiences did Rowling have during those years and
how did she write out “Harry Potter”? And then, I will analyze the feature
of this novel. Finally, this novel has been affecting people all over the
world.
II. Thesis
J.K Rowing said that "The idea that we could have a child who escapes
from the confines of the adults’ world goes somewhere, in which he has
power, both literally and metaphorically, really appeals to me."(1)
A.J.K Rowling and “Harry Potter”
a. J.K Rowling’s life
J.K Rowling was born on July 31st 1965. In her childhood, her family

had already changed residence for two times. For the first time, they
moved to the nearby village of Winterbourne (still in the Bristol vicinity)
in 1971.The other one, they moved to Tutshill, which was near the Welsh
border town of Chepstow (in the Forest of Dean) and across the Severn
River from the greater Bristol area (2).
When J.K was six years old, she was interested in writing compositions.
Furthermore, she enjoyed saying stories to others. During that time,
Rowling admitted that she had become a daydreamer as a child, and
hoped sincerely to let people all over the world read her books
J.K Rowling graduated from Exeter University in England, where she
mastered French and Classics. In 1990, J.K Rowling married a TV
journalist in haste. As soon as they had their daughter, Jessica, they
divorced. At that time, Jessica was just three months. Afterward, she
began to work as a secretary. And then, she went to Portugal for teaching
children the second language, English; somehow, J.K was unemployed,
she became a single mother who had to depend on the government’s
subsidy.

that’s why it is so popular with people all around the world. But, do you

but also is legendary figure. She had ever been penniless, suffering the
frustration, but she didn’t give up. Finally, she got rid of the dilemma,

One day, J.K Rowling was going to take a delayed train for four hours
between Manchester and London while her little daughter was sleeping.
Suddenly, she dreamt up a boy called Harry Potter. (3) When she returned
to the UK, she had a suitcase full of stories about Harry Potter. She
moved to Edinburgh with her daughter and worked as a French teacher.

Rowling once said that” Children’s literature is not a textbook.”. She
thought that writing a composition shall not always be restricted in love
stories or ghosts novels; instead, the novels should suit everybody.
Therefore, this is the reason why children like her novel. J.K always
writes it with regard to children’s mind. You should write kid’s literature
by heart, not shape. Harry Potter’s success proves that you can learn
something useful in a real kid literature.
If the parents want to make use of the son and daughter's passion for
Harry Porter's legend, teaching the kid science idea, this book is the most
perfect handbook. Thousands of hundreds of people can let children

The leading role of this book is a little child. Many children think that
Harry is just like a friend around everybody. In the story, he lost his father
since the childhood, living with the bad uncle and his cruelty younger
cousin. At the age of 11, he find out that he had sorcery. He could fly in
the sky easily and used the power with the magic wand. Afterward, he
begins an exciting and interesting adventure in his life. However, the

novels; the story is not a superfluous dalliance, but a point of view which
will not make the person feel depressed. The terrors ends up with
happiness afterward, the hosts always closely just escape from a hazard,

and let people have a wonderful life.

impossible mission, because she make our life more interesting and

which is full of magic.
