Wall Framing Plan

Wall framing plans fall into several categories: Exterior wall framing plans, interior wall
framing plans. Wall framing plans are use mainly to show how windows and doors are
framed. Framing plans also show wall bracing if any, and fire blocking. Placement of wall
studs are also shown on wall framing plans. Wall studs are usually 16" on center.
A wall framing plan is like taking away all the wall covering material to expose the wall
interior components
