soil erosion. Following are the ways to prevent Soil Erosion:

a) We should plant more and more tress and ensure that trees are not cut down carelessly.

b) Embankments should be built around the fields.


c) Terrace farming in hilly areas prevents soil from being washed away by running water.

a) Mountain soil is rich in nitrogen and humus.
