Humayun Kabir-192000912

Kabuliwala by Rabindranath Tagore.

Rabindranath Tagore's story “Kabuliwala”, group in the early twentieth hundred

Kolkata is about a little girl mini and a Kabuliwala having a look for the bonds of friendship,

love and hair separation in the relation between them moving further than the edges of deep line

for moving parts in a machine, religion and language. The first in rating characters are two

Kabuliwala and Mini. Kabuliwala's name was abdur Rehman Khan a middle-aged pathan trader,

a dry fruit one trading for money from Afghanistan, who comes to kolkata going away from his

family and in one example his specially supported daughter, and mini was a chatty girl and liked

to talk all day long.

In this story “Kabuliwala” The author described her little girl relationship

with a Kabuliwala. He loves him like an Afghan girl. Seeing Mini remembers his own daughter,

who was left in the Afghan. Mini was a talkative girl. He comes to Calcutta to sell fruits. Mercy

began to live with the people of his country in a boarding house and continued his business. The

author uses a lot of emotion in this story. In this paper I will describe stereotypes and biases, the

author's tone, logical fallacies, text structure, fact and opinion etc.

The author uses stereotype in this story. The author says that “Now most small Bengali

maidens have heard long ago about the father-in-law’s house”[ CITATION Rab92 \l 1033 ]. In
this sentence the author explains to us that the all little Bengali girl is familiar with the word

father-in-law's house. I think this dialogue has presented stereotype because we know that when

A stereotype is a preconceived idea that attributes certain characteristics to all the members of

class or set. That’s why this a stereotype that the author uses in this story.

In this story the author uses in various types of author’s tone which one of them, the

author say that I said again: "There is a ceremony in the house, and you will not be able to see

anyone to-day."[ CITATION Tag92 \l 1033 ]. This is a bitter author’s tone. The author expresses

the dialogue when Rahman came to author house after being released from Jail and then the

author said that to Rahman you can leave now because you will not be able to see anyone to-day.

Author expresses anger for that this is a bitter author’s tone.

In The story when Mini asked her father "Father! what relation is Mother to

you?", and the author expresses that "My dear little sister in the law!"(para-4) I murmured

involuntarily to myself. This is a humorous author’s tone because author expresses to funny

moment. We know that when the author explains to us something funny then it's a consider to

humorous author's tone. That’s why it is a humorous author’s tone.

When Mini's mother told her father about Kabuliwala that he should pay special

attention to kabuliwala. Because she thinks that her girl may be kidnapped by kabuliwala. That’s

why she told that in this story “Was it so very absurd that this big man should be able to carry off
a tiny child?”[ CITATION Rab92 \l 1033 ]. Author expresses an opinion in this story and author

agree with his wife. That’s why I think this is an opinion of this story which is explain that in

these expressions.

When Minnie came to her father to ask some questions and before answering one of

her questions, he started questioning other things. This is a red herring fallacy because author

explain to us she talks to him for on things suddenly she changes her topic to another things. In

this story author uses a lot of fallacy this is one of them. We know that is when someone talks

about something and then changes the subject immediately and starts talking about the other

things that’s called red herring. In this story author explain the same think that’s why this is a red

herring.

One day Rahman received the news of his daughter's illness in a letter from afghan and

decided to profit starting place. He lacked money and he used to trade things on the side-lines to

grow his business. one day when he went to keep in order, under control money from one who

gives money, he gave wound to feelings, self-respect to him. It taken part with a fight between

the 2 and got to a blowout stage. If he gives wound to feelings, self-respect Mercy, Mercy blows

with knife her. On the day of his release from prison, Mercy goes to meet Mini. He saw the

mini grow up. Now she is a fourteen-year-old girl. Soon his marriage. Minnie does not recognize

him. Mercy realizes that her daughter must have forgotten her. Mini's father gives Mercy money
back from Mini's wedding expenses and sends a gift to Mercy's daughter.
