Physical Weathering and Chemical Weathering They Both Have The Same Goal They Both Break Down Rocks

Physical and chemical weathering break down rocks through physical or chemical processes. While physical weathering can cause harm through mass wasting and rockfalls, chemical weathering creates nutrient-rich soils that support plant and tree growth, making life possible. Both types of weathering produce sediments and remove carbon dioxide from the atmosphere, while also generating clay, sand, and gravel resources.

Physical weathering and chemical weathering they both have the same goal they both break down

rocks.

Physical weathering is more harmful than chemical weathering. Chemical weathering is more beneficial than
physical weathering

Result of Process of Physical and Chemical Weathering makes Harmful.

Explanation: physical weathering is a physical change which is a change in appearance only . Types of physical
weathering are first Abrasion, Frost wedging, and Root action

So, this physical weathering makes possible a form of erosion called mass wasting. Rockfall from cliffs and roofs of
caves can damage human properties, and even kill.

Chemical change you may get change in color, odor, temperature you may get some fizzing bubbles and you may
get an explosion

Type of chemical weathering are oxidation and hydrolysis. Acidic rainwater can damage building especially the
limestone.

Advantages of Physical and Chemical Weathering

Exposed rocks surface creates nutrient rich soil and allows for plants and trees to grow, makes life on Earth possible.
It provides sediments and help to remove carbon dioxide from atmosphere . Produces clay, sand and gravel for
building blocks for our society
