Method:
The test was performed after RNA extraction by Real Time PCR detection system with internal and
external positive controls, using the SARS-COV-2 protocol.

Comments:
In view of your test result, recent travel and contact history; we may contact you for follow-up regarding
your general health.
The negative result must be interpreted along with clinical observation, patient's history and
epidemiology information.
In case of a positive result, this is strongly advised that the patient should stay at home under strict self
isolation.
In case the patient develops shortness of breath, he/she should immediately seek medical advice or
contact 1166.

Note:
Result of SARS- RNA test carried out in different labs may not be compared with each other due to
difference in specimen collection, transport, storage, sensitivity, specificity and quality controls carried
out by individual labs.
Please note that PCR test can be negative in some patients. Correlation with clinical picture, imaging
and epidemiological findings is strongly advised. Repeated testing after 2-5 days in these patients may
also be considered, if clinically indicated.
