SITUATION
It is important to recognize and celebrate the different roles that
writers, poets, and literature play in resisting the oppressive, racist,
and dictatorial-leaning powers that have been more mainstream in
recent years. As a member of PEN International, a worldwide
association of writers, you are tasked to come up with a creative
adaptation of a literary text from the world featuring various
societal issues through a critical essay using the psychological
approach of your chosen literary text from the world.

STANDARDS
The output will be evaluated by a group of
representatives based on the following
criteria: content, clarity and organization,
presentation, creativity, and fidelity to the
technical aspects of the medium used.
INTRODUCTION
Start with the title of the literary piece and
its author Briefly tell what the work is about
or how it influenced the society. Answer:
Why is it worth the analysis? What conflicts
are raised by the author? Make a thesis
statement. Explain the main point you want
to establish.
BODY
Come up with a paragraph for each point
that you make in the thesis. Start each
paragraph with a concise and meaningful
sentence. Give detailed explanations of your
analysis. Support your main point with
sound evidence. Finish each paragraph with
a sentence answering: What does this
paragraph prove?
CONCLUSION
This is the final paragraph of your literary
analysis paper that will give it a sense of
completeness. Here, you can summarize all
major points. Give your comments on the
work. Emphasize why your analysis is viable
and how the body supports it.
