INDEMNITY BOND TO BE EXECUTIVE BY THE MEDICAL
OFFICERS OF WBHS ON PLACEMENT AS TRAINEE RESERVE,
2022-2025
As per Notification - HF/O/MERT/508/ME/TR-07-2012, dated Kolkata
2nd June 2015, in rule 4, sub-rule 1 (i, ii, iii), 2 & 3, the candidates
proceeding on trainee reserve shall execute the Bond below in triplicate
that they shall serve in their respective Cadre and Service for the
minimum periods mention in the Bond, on return, from Trainee Reserve,
failing which such officers shall refund to the state Govt., the amount of
money prescribed below:-
Know all men by these present that we, DR.TANMOY GHOSH son of
Goutom Kumar Ghosh residing at srijan park,p.o.Nabapally, P.S.
Barasat, pin 700126, West Bengal at present employed as in the West

Bengal Health Services (Hereinafter called the employee), DR ABHIK
MANDAL, son of Purandar mandal, residing at pratapaditya
Road ,p.o.Noapara,p.s.Barasat, pin 700125,west bengal and DR PRASUN
KUMAR GHOSH, son of Dr P.K.Ghosh residing at panchatantra Housing
Complex, P.O.Barasat, P.S.Barasat, west Bengal the sureties and do
hereby jointly and severally are held firmly bound to the Government of
West Bengal (Hereinafter called the "Government") for a sum of Rs.
15,00,000 ( Rupees Fifteen lacs only) for which payment to be well and
truly made, we bound ourselves, our respective heirs, executors,
representative and assigners jointly and severally to the Governor.
Whereas the above Bounden DR.TANMOY GHOSH is placed on the
Training Reserve of the Cadre of the West Bengal Health Services, as per
the provision of West Bengal Medical Education Service, West Bengal
Health Service and West Bengal Public Health-cum-Administrative
Service (Placement on Trainee Reserve) Rules, 2015.
And whereas the Governor of West Bengal have allowed the said DR.
TANMOY GHOSH to undergo training in IPGMER,KOLKATA and have
placed the said DR. TANMOY GHOSH on trainee reserve for training in
M.S.( General Surgery) for the period of 3( three) years, SESSION
2022 -2025) with effect from ____________ subject to certain terms and
conditions hereinafter expressed, namely, that in case the said
DR.TANMOY GHOSH fails and neglects to complete the training/studies
as aforesaid or fails to continue to be in the service of the Govt. of West
Bengal (hereinafter reference to as the "Government") on return from the
training/ studies in question, for the period of 5 years we the said DR
ABHIK MANDAL and DR. PRASUN KUMAR GHOSH as such sureties, in
spite of time being given by the Govt. or by any forbearance or act or
admission authorized by it (where there without notice to or consent or
knowledge of us the said Dr Abhik Mandal and Dr Prasun Kumar Ghosh
as sureties), shall forthwith pay to the Governor or the Govt. the said
sum of Rs. 15,00,000 ( Rupees Fifteen lacs only) with interest to be
accrued thereon at the Govt. loans for the time being in force from the
date of demand made by the Govt. for payment of the same.

Now the condition of the above written obligation is that in the event of
the above bounded employee DR.TANMOY GHOSH completing his
training/studies or resuming his duty in the West Bengal Health Services
or expiry or termination of the period of training for the period of 5(five)
years after return to duty or in default thereof, the said DR ABHIK
MANDAL and DR PRASUN KUMAR GHOSH paying to Govt., the sum of
Rs. 15,00,000 ( Rupees Fifteen lacs only) with interest accrued thereon at
the Govt. rate of interest of Govt. loan for the time being force, from the
date of the then demand and in that event the above written Bond
obligation shall be void and in-operative or otherwise the same shall
remain in full force and virtue.
Provided always that any time given or opportunity offered by the Govt.
to the said DR.TANMOY GHOSH to fulfill and observe the terms and
conditions on his part with or without notices to the said sureties DR
ABHIK MANDAL and DR PRASUN KUMAR GHOSH shall not relieve
them or their obligations under these present and their liability and
obligations shall continue till all the terms and condition hereinbefore
contained are fully observed and performed
The indemnity Bond shall be executed on payment of appropriate stamp
duty as applicable
In witness whereof we the said DR ABHIK MANDAL and DR PRASUN
KUMAR GHOSH have set and subscribed our respective hands here do
