Award Title Being Nominated For: Outstanding Teacher
I. Executive Summary
Being an outstanding teacher goes beyond acquiring the competence and knowledge to deliver rigorous
academic instruction to a diverse group of learners. I do believe that such one must possess a multitude of qualities
making them unique and unforgettable to the children they serve. I also believe that outstanding teachers are
passionate, inspired, creative and innovative. Thus, we initiated different projects and programs such as Project
PAKSA (Pagyamanin Ang Kaalaman Sa Araling Panlipunan) and Project SMILE (Speed in Multiplication
Increases Learner’s Expertise in Mathematics) to help our learners. These programs were anchored in Araling
Panlipunan and Mathematics subjects.
An outstanding teacher must also have the heart for the learners and can develop holistic learners who are
steeped in values, equipped with the 21st century skills, and able to propel development and progress. Thus, I also
focused on training my campus journalists in order to enhance their skills in creative writing and
broadcasting and become contributors in the school publication.
Being an outstanding teacher also means simply being the best in everything you do in different aspects. It is
sharing and imparting knowledge to others. For such I am honored to be a Demonstration Teacher in the District
Level of 2020 PIVOT I-D-E-A Lesson Exemplar and in the 2019 District Demo-Teaching Festival.
The above aforementioned lays all my accomplishments but this would not be possible without the help of my
school head and the support of fellow teachers, colleagues and parents. It is the power to make a lasting difference
with the community/school we serve and most especially our learners as they are the heart of the educative
process.
